Permanent Installation for Queens Family Courthouse. New York, NY. 2002 and 2012.

Site-specific vacuum-formed plastic and aluminum sculpture for “One Percent for the Arts” program. Tom led the fabrication process, and coordinated detail drawings with engineers Cantor Seinuk. He also managed the 6-person studio staff and additional sub-contractors for construction and installation, as Ursula's head fabrication assistant on the project.

Ten years after the original installation, Tom lead a conservation process for the sculpture which included performing a survey and developing a strategy for its rehabilitation.

Tom managed a 4-person studio team and designed the methods of fabrication, shipping, and assembly for this +20’-tall cedar sculpture. He coordinated engineering and fabrication to resist hurricane-force winds and freeze-thaw weather cycles.
